"It gives me immense pleasure to share that Govt. Model Women College, Mangaldai, established by the Government of Assam in 2025, stands as the only women’s college in the district dedicated to empowering women through higher education.
Our institution began its humble journey in the academic session 2025–26 with an enrolment of 530 students. We are proud to have achieved affiliation with Gauhati University for five departments — Assamese, English, Geography, Mass Communication & Journalism, and Psychology — offering both Major and Minor courses.
The college is blessed with a secure campus and a beautiful building equipped with ICT-enabled, modern classrooms that foster an environment of innovation and learning.
